Beschreibung

This is our final sermon in our three-week series on our discipleship pathway: Proclaiming, Cultivating, and Multiplying. In Matthew 28:16-20, we hear Jesus' final commission, calling on his disciples to go make disciples of all nations. Therefore, the church must heed these words and remain committed to the task Jesus has given us to multiply disciples for the glory of his name. We're able to learn more about this mission by answering 5 key questions from the passage: Who makes disciples? (16-17) Where do we find confidence to make disciples? (18) What’s the extent of our disciples making? (19) How do we make disciples? (19-20) What will sustain us as we make disciples? (20)

Episode Luke 1:1-4 Cover

Luke 1:1-4

We live in a world full of uncertainty. But, while everything around us feels unstable, God wants us to have certainty about one thing: the truth of Jesus Christ and the gospel. In Luke 1:1-4, Luke tells us that he wrote his gospel account so that believers would be confident in what they have been taught. He gives us three reasons for that confidence: Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament, His life and resurrection were seen by many trustworthy eyewitnesses, and Luke carefully investigated every detail before writing. Our faith isn’t built on blind hope or vague spirituality—it’s anchored in real historical events, seen and recorded by real people. When the world feels shaky, Jesus remains the firm foundation we can build our lives upon. Fulfillment (verse 1) Eyewitnesses (verse 2) Investigation (verse 3)
