Accord within yourself, to not go to other gods (whiich are evil spirits), because you have a Heavenly Father who is able to provide for all of your needs, give you joy, and give you peace. Job Description: Holy Spirit

I really should have known about the Holy Spirit's formal job description as found in John 16:7-13. This is the type of passage that I probably have glossed over in the past but today as I read the Jesus' words about the Holy Spirit I was shocked. The Holy Spirit's whole job is to basically breath life into the Gospel, the Good News we are called to share! How did I not understand this?
