The event featured a welcome reception, keynote speaker Anita Brooks discussing personality perspectives, and engaging sessions on de-escalation and understanding addiction. More importantly, this episode highlights the powerful conversations I had with CASAs, both new and seasoned, who share a common goal—to make foster children's voices heard. We explore the emotional challenges and isolation that can sometimes come with being a CASA, as well as the incredible sense of connection and support that conferences like this can bring.
