Beschreibung

This week we’re diving into a difficult but important topic: religious cults, spiritual manipulation, and how false doctrine can pull people away from the truth of God’s Word. This episode is not about attacking people, it’s about encouraging discernment, testing teachings with Scripture, and keeping our eyes on Christ instead of blindly following man. If this episode speaks to you, share it with someone and join the conversation in the comments. What are some warning signs believers should watch for?

Episode Episode 17: Serving, Not Competing Cover

Episode 17: Serving, Not Competing

Have we turned ministry into a competition? In this episode of Crushin Religion, we discuss the danger of seeking positions, titles, and recognition instead of simply serving where God has placed us. Too often people become frustrated when they don't receive the role they wanted yet overlook the many opportunities to serve that may seem less visible whether that's cleaning bathrooms, setting up chairs, helping behind the scenes, or encouraging others. The Kingdom of God was never built on competition. It was built on servanthood. Jesus didn't call us to fight for positions. He called us to serve one another in love. Listen now and let us know your thoughts in the comments. Have you ever seen competition create division in the church? How can we better serve one another?

Episode 14 - Challenged Minds: Faith and Mental Health

Mental health is not something to mock, hide, or automatically label as “a spirit.” Sometimes people are genuinely hurting, struggling, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or battling things they never asked for. In this episode, we talk about the importance of compassion, support, and understanding within the church. Seeking help does not make you weak, faithless, or broken. It’s okay to pray, and it’s okay to talk to someone, seek counseling, or get medical help when needed. The church should be a safe place where people can open up without fear of judgment, gossip, or condemnation. As believers, we are called to love one another, carry each other’s burdens, and support those who are struggling, not push them away.
