Episode IDENTITY IN CHRIST Cover

Beschreibung

In this episode, we discuss how the world pushes us to find identity in success, approval, appearance, relationships, achievements, or even our past pain and failures. None of those things truly satisfy. Many people begin to define themselves by labels like addiction, abuse, rejection, shame, or accomplishments, yet those things were never meant to determine our worth. Through Jesus Christ, believers are given a new identity rooted not in the opinions of others, but in God’s truth. Looking at the book of Ephesians, we are reminded that in Christ we are chosen, redeemed, forgiven, adopted into God’s family, saved by grace, and created with purpose. This episode encourages listeners to stop searching for identity in temporary things and instead rest in the unchanging truth that our identity is found in Christ alone, not in our past, our struggles, or the standards of the world. What voices or labels have you allowed to define your identity more than God’s truth about you? If everything the world uses to measure success disappeared tomorrow, who would you believe you are? How would your daily life change if you truly lived believing you were fully chosen, loved, forgiven, and accepted in Christ?

FINDING IDENTITY WITH KAILA CUSICK

What happens when the things we look to for identity, worth, and validation never truly satisfy? In this episode of Dear Christian Women, we sit down with Kaila to talk about the journey from seeking identity in the world and all of its promises to discovering the unshakable truth of who she is in Christ. Kaila shares her testimony of moving from striving for approval, searching for value in outside things, and believing identity had to be earned—to encountering the love of Jesus and finding that true worth was already established in Him. Through her story, she opens up about what it looks like not only to find your identity in Christ, but to walk confidently and boldly in it every day. Kaila is a daughter of the Most High God, wife, mom of five in a blended family, and owner of Beauty & Bloom, a holistic skincare studio created with the mission of helping women break up with insecurity and bloom into their natural beauty. Her passion is helping women connect with Jesus by pointing them to His love and encouraging them to live fully in the identity He has spoken over them. Join us for an encouraging conversation about freedom, confidence, healing, and learning to stop striving for worth—and start walking boldly as daughters of the King. Episode WHY DOES GOD LOVE ME? Cover

WHY DOES GOD LOVE ME?

Why does God love us? Is it because we’ve been good enough, worthy enough, or done all the right things to earn His love? In this episode of Dear Christian Women, we explore a truth that changes everything: God’s love is not something we achieve, it flows from who He is. Because God is love, His love isn’t based on performance, perfection, or proving ourselves. Through Jesus, we see the fullness of that love a love that gave, sacrificed, and made a way for us before we could ever earn it. This conversation invites us to release striving and receive the grace that comes from God’s unchanging character. Join us as we talk about Gods love and what it means to live from being loved instead of living to earn love. Have you ever found yourself trying to earn God’s love through being “good enough”? How would your life change if you truly believed God’s love is based on who He is—not what you do? What does receiving God’s love freely look like in your current season?
