Dr. Sharon Friesen is a a professor at the Werklund School of Education in Calgary, Alberta. Sharon was one of the participants at the Decolonizing Professional Learning gathering at Memorial University in August 2022. Dr. Ruth Kane is a Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa. Prior to moving to Canada in 2006, Ruth served as Director of Teacher Education at Otago University (New Zealand) and Professor of Secondary Education at Massey University (New Zealand).
