“A Song God’s Springs of Mercy”

In this second sermon of Psalm 78, Pastor Phill tackles this second-longest song in all the Psalms by pointing out three challenges found within Psalm 78. (1) Prone to Distraction, (2) Difficulty of the dark sayings, (3) Deceitfulness of our sins. All the while, showing how this Psalm teaches: The sins of our fathers are many, but the Mercy of God, the Father, are MORE! Yet as ready as we are to sin, God is even more ready to forgive.

Pastor Phill communicates that when we have the questions “where are you God? Where have you been?” we should turn to this psalm. In it we find the Mighty Lion of Judah. Discussion questions: 1.
