Episode Capacity for Resilience Cover

Beschreibung

This third podcast by Drs. Kim McBride and Colin Ward provides an uplifting shift in how supervisors can perceive and work with their supervisees in such a way to activate their resilient tendencies as well as with their clients.  The first of these is the idea of Capacity.  Grounded in the work of Drs. Ward, Heusler, and Fort (Resilient Centered Counseling), Capacity is one of four foundational pillars of resilience (the other three are Connection, Culture, and Community) and a central stance in working with supervisees from a position of solidarity and strength.  Sharing both personal stories and wisdoms derived from years of supervisory practice, Dr. McBride and Ward provide a heart felt framework for working with supervisees from a perspective inherent worth and capacity.
