National Nutrition Month: The Value of a Dietitian in the Workplace

March is National Nutrition Month and in this Episode to Wellbeing at Work, we meet with Brandon Kimbro and Lauren Battista, Employee Wellness Coordinators with The City of Columbus, to hear their perspective on the value of a dietitian in the workplace. Cancer is the top financial cost to employers due to delayed care during the pandemic and an increase in late stage diagnosis. In addition to the high cost of treatment, employees can experience tremendous stress and fatigue as they navigate treatment or care for a loved one through cancer.
