The human desire to keep on living even when life wants to forsake him, is so strong that Dhritarashtra couldn't give it up. Vidura condones Dhritarashtra that he has lived life long enough and his desire for enjoyment hasn't bated. Once man has reached a certain age he has to give up all his material worldly desires and go towards renunciation. This sage advice is given to Dhritarashtra by Vidura and asked to leave the kingdom and go away.
