During this episode, we will talk to Ms. Kenya Barry, Mrs. Tonya Quinn, and Dr. Nashedra Barry as we look at issues that arise during the autism diagnosis process like provider bias, the stigma that exists within the African American community, how that stigma carries over into the legal system causing Black autistic children to be seen as aggressive, and the lack of social support for mothers as they advocate for their children along their journey.
