Welcome back to Fuseroom Recording Studio for a 1-hour talk over one of the most debated - and heated - topics: Why do most indie artists and their productions suffer from a self-hijacking approach that leads their records to be a pain to make? We start from excerpts of a chat between two sound engineers, then we go back to a bit of history and then we keep drilling into Alberto's personal opinion. Sit down and relax (if you can ;)).

Welcome to episode 8! This week we talk about the remastering of a great video game soundtrack: "Dreamweb". Out in 1994, this game represents one of the best there is for cyberpunk, sci-fi, dystopian, futuristic adventures. Part of that is due to the amazing soundtrack that Matt Seldon and Steve Boynton wrote, that lets you drift into the mood and atmosphere of the game. Lots of things to talk about:- Extracting audio from the video game- Noise reduction- Spatialization and mono-to-stereo decisions- Imaging and low-frequency distribution- Analog outboard After the episode, head over to the Bandcamp page and download the album, it's free! Get the remaster of the soundtrack, here:http://dreamweb-remastered.bandcamp.com

Episode 7, so nice and crisp! This week we talk about "how is Fuseroom wired, how does your signal chain work and how does it work to record something there?" - thanks to JB Berg for asking such question in our YouTube channel. Hot this week:Kingswood > www.kingswoodband.com

Episode 6 is beautiful because it has a picture of my cat as cover! Some great, great topics to cover, this week!
