She takes a shower and gets dressed. Then she makes breakfast for the family. Mr. Reynoso wakes up at 6:30. He drinks coffee and reads the news. After breakfast, he goes to work at 7:30. Lena, the daughter, is 10 years old. She wakes up at 7:00. She brushes her teeth, washes her face, and eats breakfast. She goes to school at 7:45. Her little brother, Diego, is 6 years old. He wakes up at 7:15. He gets dressed and eats cereal. He goes to school with Lena. In the afternoon, Lena and Diego come home at 3:00. Lena does her homework and plays with Diego. Diego plays with his toys and watches cartoons. Mrs. Reynoso comes home from work at 4:30. She cooks dinner and cleans the kitchen. Mr. Reynoso comes home at 5:00. He helps the children with their homework. In the evening, the family eats dinner together at 6:30. After dinner, they talk and relax. Sometimes they play a game or read a book. Diego takes a bath and puts on his pajamas. At 8:00, Lena and Diego go to bed. Mr. and Mrs. Reynoso go to bed at 10:00. They are tired but happy. It is a good day.

In the afternoon, Rebecca takes the children to the park. They play soccer and run. After they come home, Rebecca prepares dinner. The family eats together. She carries two pots. She puts water in the pots and walks home. One pot is perfect. It holds all the water. The other pot had a crack. Water falls out as the woman walks. The cracked pot feels sad. “I’m not good,” it says. “I lose water. I cannot do my job.” The woman smiles and says, “Look at the flowers on your side of the path. I plant seeds there. You give water to the seeds every day. Now the flowers grow!” The cracked pot is happy. It is not perfect, but it is still useful.

My name is Maria. I live in a small house with my family. I want to tell you about my day. I wake up at 6:30 in the morning. I get out of bed and brush my teeth. Then, I wash my face and get dressed. I usually wear jeans and a T-shirt. At 7:00, I eat breakfast. I usually eat eggs, toast, and fruit. I drink coffee or orange juice. After breakfast, I go to work. I am a teacher. I start work at 8:00 a.m. I teach English to children. I like my job. I finish work at 3:00 p.m. In the afternoon, I go home and take a short nap. Then I go for a walk with my dog. His name is Max. He is small and friendly. In the evening, I cook dinner. Sometimes I make rice, chicken, and vegetables. I eat with my family. After dinner, I wash the dishes and watch TV. At 9:30, I take a shower and read a book. I go to bed at 10:00 p.m. I am usually very tired, so I sleep well. That is my day! What is your daily routine?
