AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 11) January 22, 2002 | The WB CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 11) * Lauren Graham as Lorelai Gilmore * Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 11) SYNOPSIS Rory shows up at Luke's with big news! Her PSAT scores came in. She opened them up and her scores are great but she's taken aback by the fact that her math scores are higher than her verbal. Lorelai tells her it doesn't matter cuz her scores are amazing. They decide to celebrate by going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show! Lorelai wakes up the next morning in a GREAT mood cuz snow! But that good news vanishes when her foot falls through the porch. Naturally she calls Kirk to come out to take a look and he's got bad news - she has termites. A ton of termites. Basically need to redo the wooden joists under the house. Gonna cost like 15k. Lorelai is freaking out, she doesn't have that type of money! At school, Paris is clearly beginning to tell the girls what her PSAT scores are but is waiting on one of them to ask. Rory finally does. But then Paris is dying to know what Rory's score is but she refuses to tell her. Lorelai and Rory can't sleep knowing that the termites are eating the wood below them, so they go over to Sookie's house. They're shocked to find out that she stuffed Jackson in the closet. He's embarrassed that he's wearing pajamas with pictures of him in his high school wrestling uniform. The next day, Lorelai is trying to figure out a way to pay for the termite repairs. Rory asks why she doesn't just ask Emily. Lorelai says asking for money for her school was worth the obligation. The house is not that important. So naturally, Rory immediately brings it up at Friday night dinner. When they get home, it leads to a huge argument. Lorelai is P'd right the O off. To make matters worse, the next day Rory sees Lane in a cheerleader uniform. She didn't even know her best friend was a cheerleader. Emily calls Lorelai with good news - she got her a meeting with a man at their bank. Lorelai doesn't want the meeting. She's figuring it out. Rory and Lane talk and it's a whole thing. Rory is like why didn't you tell me? Lane is like because I knew how you'd respond. Lorelai has Luke come out to look at it. He confirms what Kirk said but says he's willing to help. He knows a crew that can do it. He offers to give her a loan but she's not having it. Lorelai reluctantly shows up to the bank for that meeting Emily set up and is shocked to see that Emily is there. They go into the meeting and she's gonna need Emily to co-sign on the loan in order to make it happen. So she has to ask Emily. Emily agrees. After they leave, Lorelai asks what this is going to cost her. Emily is offended and says she just wanted to do something nice for her daughter, OKAY?! She makes it to the bonfire pep rally and she and Rory make up and then they watch Lane and the cheerleaders do their thing. Afterwards, Rory and Lane make up. The episode ends at Friday night dinner. Emily is still mad at Lorelai. She apologizes and Emily accepts and then says they're gonna be having the DAR meetings at the inn moving forward, almost as if there were strings attached. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
