Porto Carras Grand Resort is a luxury resort on the Halkidiki peninsula, about 120 kilometers from Thessaloniki. Built in the 1970s by Yiannis Carras, a greek business man and a ship owner it became one of Greece´s most iconic resorts destinations, famous for its grand architecture, lush vineyards, marina golf course and beachfront. The resort became known for its luxurious amenities, attracting wealthy tourists, celebrities and politicians from around the world.
