Forecast: Mercury is the ruler of the New Moon in Gemini as the messenger planet rules the Mutable Air Sign of Gemini making this New Moon a fresh start & a moment of pure potential for our minds and our nervous systems. If you have (most likely) felt like you have been sprinting through Gemini Season- never mind 2026 this is your call to sit down and allow your mind to rest and settle into the void of nothingness that is the new moon so that you can come back to curiosity about what really matters to you and not just any random thing in your feed. Like every New Moon we have the Sun-representing the life force of the current moment working together with the moon connecting us with how we feel about the current moment and in Gemini it’s about analyzing our feelings not actually feeling them. At this later degree point of 24 degrees of Gemini in the third decan of the 1st Air Sign of the Zodiac- this is overstimulation at the max and we all need social media breaks at this point in Gemini Season. The Sun & Moon in Gemini are Sextile Eris in Aries: There are several Sextiles at play in the chart of this New Moon which means there are ample opportunities to step it up with our soul-growth. When the Sun and the Moon in Gemini form a sextile to Eris in Aries we must be careful not to allow ourselves to fixate on creating stories about others that may or may not be true. This is a call to come out of the mind and into the body and decide where you want to put your mental energy at this point that actually feeds who you are- Asking yourself: where you can I just be myself without casting myself a role in anyone else’s story? This is your show-look around and notice who is here for it-like really present without any personal gain for them? Eris can bring up where we have been othered or cast into a role that doesnt actually fit who we are. In the sextile with the luminaries in Gemini we look to our social world to see where we can just be ourselves and where there is perhaps a different expectation from others that we have become accustomed to. The Sun & Moon are opposing Dark Moon Lilith in Sagittarius We also have the Sun and the Moon in an opposition with Dark Moon Lilith. With oppositions there is always a challenge to embrace polarity within us as we witness it around us. This opposition is likely to activate sacred rage about the information at hand. When rage gets triggered in us it is an invitation into our own alchemy process. It is our subconscious wanting to create space for contrast. Ask yourself: what is on the other side of this rage? If you are willing to cross the bridge of alchemy by acknowledging your anger and being curious about what it’s actually about, that’s where the alchemy can occur for you. With Gemini & Sagittarius alchemy being activated it’s most likely about bringing in deeper personal witnessing to your own mental processes and looking at how your beliefs were formed in the first place. Mercury in Cancer is sextile Mars in Taurus Mercury in Cancer is where we process our personal feelings and try to communicate them. Mars in Taurus is where we take grounded action that stabilizes us. The opportunity with these planets in a sextile is leaning into the gifts and offerings of each planet in each sign. Mercury in Cancer is helping us process some very personal feelings and Mars in Taurus can lend a hand by guiding us out of any emotional spinning by encouraging us to take the next right step forward to avoid getting lost or stunted by what transpired through past actions. Venus in Leo is sextile Uranus in Gemini Venus who just recently arrived in Leo is wanting to to celebrate herself and how far she has come and with the opportunity aspect from Uranus in Gemini she is becoming increasingly aware of the people in her life who are a match for her and the ones who are not. Fake friends take off their masks and reveal themselves as Venus in Leo is clear about the value she brings and therefore requires from those that hang with her. Uranus in Gemini gives her a chance to set the story straight about what she is and is not available for in her social engagements. Ultimately Uranus in Gemini is guiding Venus in Leo to the quality of life and relationships that she can wear her Crown in because nobody puts baby in the corner if you know what I mean ;) Venus in Leo is square Chiron in Aries (out of sign square) Venus in Leo at the 1st degree of Leo is forming an out-of-sign square to Chiron in Aries at the final degree of Aries as Chiron prepares to go into Taurus on June 19th. This square gives Venus in Leo a reminder of how far she has come in owning her own individuality and reclaiming her worthiness to wear the Crown she was born to wear. Venus in Leo building opposition to Pluto in Aquarius Venus in Leo is also in a budding opposition to Pluto in Aquarius but Pluto being a strong, potent outer planet Venus is already feeling the opposition. This is about her becoming more and more aware of who she is among the group so that she can come out of comparison and deeper into the heart of who she is and be willing to be seen in her wholeness and not just what she wants to be seen for. Jupiter in Cancer square Eris in Aries Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and has been in Cancer for almost a year and is finishing up its journey through the sign on June 29th. When a an outer planet is near completion in a sign it needs to bring the reason for the transit full circle. Since Jupiter really shines in this cardinal water sign of Cancer, and because we are just coming out of the Jupiter-Venus conjunction that occurred on June 9th, we are invited into holding the wholeness of who we are more unapologetically with this square with Eris in Aries. There’s a new story about you that you have written or at least were invited to write this past year. About who you have become and what it took to get there that won’t allow you to give your power away to others. Uranus in Gemini sextile Neptune in Aries Uranus in Gemini has an opportunity during the New Moon to work with Neptune in Aries. These two outer planets both connect us with the need to surrender attachment to what is old and expired in our lives. Uranus in Gemini wants us to seek new information and Neptune in Aries wants us to lean into a personal dream that has the potential to be carried out in this lifetime. If the two lean on each other we can put some puzzle pieces together where our big, seemingly far-away dream is concerned through being curious and seeking new information and even networking. Neptune in Aries sextile Pluto in Aquarius The opportunity that exists between Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius is similar in the sense that both planets are wanting us to dissolve and de-construct and break down old systems and patterns for the sake of our own bright futures that directly affect the bright future of the collective. Saturn in Aries conjunct both Asteroid Goddesses-Pallas Athene & Vesta Saturn in Aries is bringing complimentary self-discipline to these power-house feminine archetypes of Pallas Athene and Vesta. Pallas Athene can’t be held back in her independence and Saturn is helping us to strengthen our boundaries around prioritizing what is coming through us on a creative level. We must not lose sight of what we are birthing into being at this time. That is the default program of our sustenance and our existence at this time and it’s important to remember: nobody’s urgency is your emergency-especially with Vesta involved. She helps us tether to the service of our own inner-flame and not get caught up in other people’s drama. Overall with this new moon activation we must approach life with renewed curiosity about where the future is leading our path and intentional focus on ending old patterns that are nothing more than familiar. The Sun in Gemini is very “look over here, look at this new information I have discovered”. The Moon in Sagittarius is very “look over here at my long-held beliefs that I am very certain of” The Sun and the Moon in opposition in these signs begs us to question our long-held beliefs and the stories they have created in our minds and our realities. During this Full Moon we are meant to stop and look around at the experience we are having and how that experience pokes holes in the belief system we have been living in. The Sun in Gemini conjunct Uranus, Ceres & Sedna Gemini In my recent article: A Gemini Season Like No Other, I spoke of the major impact of Uranus going into Gemini on April 25th and how it’s creating a very unique and potent Gemini Season. This Full Moon is a great example of that. Uranus is 7 degrees away from the Sun in Gemini opposition the Full Moon. Since Uranus is an outer planet it packs a bigger punch than the personal planets: (Sun + Moon) and is powerful enough to infuse both of these planets with it’s lightning bolt divine insight and essentially move the needle for all of us in terms of releasing attachments to old belief systems and re-writing a new narrative that will pave the way forward into the future that looks nothing like the past. The Asteroid Goddess Ceres is conjunct and working directly with Uranus in Gemini infusing him with her nurturing energy and helping us understand how to allow ourselves to be nurtured by new information. The Asteroid Goddess Sedna is also conjunct and working directly with Ceres and Uranus during this Full Moon. Sedna is helping us reveal the parts of our own stories that we have been victim to and ultimately helping us heal and by reclaiming the narrative. The Sun in Gemini Sextile Saturn in Aries Saturn in Aries represents boundaries with self assertion which offers the Sun in Gemini an opportunity to pause and assess if he actually has the energy for another social interaction just now. Saturn in Aries wants to support the Sun in Gemini with a process that will support the longevity of his stamina. Saturn in Aries wants to know if the Sun in Gemini has practiced any nervous system regulation today. This is a question we all must ask ourselves this weekend as we navigate the energy of the Full Moon. It’s important to note that Saturn in Aries is also conjunct Asteroid Goddesses Pallas Athene & Vesta in Aries creating this BOSS FEMME archetypal energy that is offering the Sun in Gemini much wisdom and supportive energy to preserve his energy. Pallas Athene is infusing these planets with her independent feminine spirit, and Vesta is asking us within this abundance of Gemini energy where distraction is readily available-what are we willing to devote ourselves to because it lights us up from within that much? Once each month, they meet at the same exact degree point to begin again together. This month they meet in the grounded earth sign of Taurus — inviting us into a deeper relationship with stability, simplicity, nourishment, and trust in what is built slowly over time.
