The Foundation for Divine Healing Part 1. (The Obedience of Christ)

Christ’s obedience is the key to receiving all the promises of God, including divine healing. However, to appreciate this principle we must understand how the disobedience of Adam became the foundation for sickness and disease. Then we can see clearly how the obedience of Christ turned the tides in our favour.

Divine Healing -God’s Maintenance Policy.

Divine healing is God’s provision to maintain our health in this fallen world. Under the Old Testament, it was a promise but in Christ Jesus, it is a guarantee.

Why We Need Divine Healing

Divine healing is God’s maintenance policy to keep our bodies free from the consequences of sin (sickness and diseases) until the return of Christ when we would receive new immortal and eternal bodies. Divine healing is needed by all, if you are struggling with your health now, you probably need it urgently (and God has already provided healing for you in Christ Jesus), and even if you are strong and healthy now, you need it to remain strong, even stronger as you advance in years. Healing is part of our lives as God’s children; this is why God calls it the children’s bread.

Where did Weakness, Sickness, and Death come from?

Understanding the spiritual root of sicknesses and diseases helps our appreciation of God’s spiritual (Divine) provision for our healing and well-being.
