Holy Ground Life with Teresa L Hoffman
God loved you so much He sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to break through the oppression of the kingdom of darkness that had settled over all the earth. He established a new Kingdom, the glorious Kingdom of God’s Light. Jesus went to the cross to defeat the power of sin and death and the violence of the cross became violence to the kingdom of darkness. The cross of Messiah cut out a gateway to eternal life. Jesus’ cross became a new tree of life. The original dwelling place of God’s children had two trees, the tree of knowledge and the tree of life. Humanity chose to eat the forbidden tree of knowledge, so God removed access to the tree of eternal life. Knowledge became their primary reality. Jesus became the ETZ CHAIM (tree or door of life) for humanity. Whoever believes or partakes in Jesus enters the door of His life and comes into His Kingdom. Jesus broke open this portal by becoming sin for us. His precious blood holds that door open and no one, not of the spirit realm or of the natural earth realm, can close it. We entered His life when we became a believer. We also entered His death and His resurrection. To enter we must believe in our heart and speak out loud, “Jesus is Lord of my life”. His own righteousness clothed us in our nakedness. His peace marked us with His gentle authority. He gave us His name so that we are now called His family. He gave us citizenship into His Kingdom. We walked directly into the arms of our Father. Forever, we are to live in the joy of restoration with our perfect, heavenly Father. God speaks over you, “You don’t need to worry or be afraid ever again, child. I am giving you this Kingdom of heaven here on earth and all of its promises” (Luke 12:31-32 TPT). We must never be distracted by our old way of doing things. We must remember what the Spirit has spoken, “The Kingdom of God is not rules or regulations (heavy religious dos and don’ts) but it is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17). Our first and most important assignment as citizens of the Kingdom of God here on earth is to know His Kingdom has come and to know how to operate in this superior reality. The center of God’s Kingdom in heaven and on earth is King Jesus Christ. The Kingdom is the King’s domain. God’s heart is in the center of His Kingdom and God’s heart is Jesus Christ. The earth was formed by God’s words. God’s word holds together everything in His Kingdom. God’s word is spoken by His children over His creation. His word continues to flow from Kingdom citizens and it continues to shape and reshape natural realm reality. God’s words become our dwelling place on earth. A superior reality within a reality. This is how we live in His Kingdom, safely apart from the world’s cares and fears. We may experience the same things as those who live separated from God but we see with the eyes of our heart the ultimate victory in Christ, having a heavenly perspective. This is called Kingdom mindset and we gain this by reading God’s word and yielding to the guidance of the Holy Spirit within. Above all, we are to seek God’s ways. How? Listen to Him. His voice, His counsel, His Spirit is our greatest influence. Our spiritual heart condition is important to God because His Kingdom expands from and within the heart. Revelation increases and expands when we join our lives intimately with Jesus. Fear of this world and its ability to harm us dissolves when we experience the love of Jesus. His love forms Kingdom mindset and we change. The greatest revelation is to know His love is without condemnation and it is never withdrawn. When we know this, we put His words in our language and His light makes darkness flee. We learn that we can be still and He always rescues us. As believers and citizens of God’s Kingdom, ones who walked through JESUS, we are now born from above by the Spirit. Therefore, our primary identity in this world is our spirit. Our spirit is perfect and leads the sanctification of the soul and body. We journey deeper and deeper into God’s Kingdom realm through the navigation of the Holy Spirit. We grow up by moving forward with Him. We seek first His Kingdom and His gift of righteousness and abundant life flows to us. How to not seek the Kingdom of God? * Worry * Focus on denominational rules and regulations. * Perform your “Christianity” without valuing God’s Presence in your life. * Live in the past. * Let the world’s culture define you. The only way to escape the oppression of this age is to passionately lay hold of God’s Kingdom and His counsel. Your part is to lay hold and stay connected to the VINE, Jesus. To lay hold of Him means you need to lay aside what you have held tightly to protect yourself apart from God. Surrender is His Kingdom unleashes the super power of GRACE. The Kingdom definition of grace is God’s ability made perfect in your inability. Your weakness becomes a beautiful portal to His power (2 Corinthians 12:9). We can release the burden of our identity and take up Jesus’ identity. We can easily do this because Jesus ran His race to passionately lay hold of us. He is right there. We are pressing into the ultimate victory when we choose to have a Kingdom mindset- every thought, every choice, every prayer. We wrap our believing heart around His promises. His promises are greater than what we feel, what we see, or what we hear. There is a Kingdom table here on earth that is always available. It is set with the Kingdom feast. It is set at the table of our own heart. We can access it at any moment. Jesus sits at the head of that table. We partake in everything His great sacrifice purchased. When we eat, we always expect deliverance. When we eat what He offers, we are forgiven, healed, peace overwhelms our circumstance, we are comforted, strengthened, and His authority is established. Taking the time with Jesus, daily, keeps us from being weak. We eat His words and they rest in the center of our being. They become a part of us. His words release the weariness of saving ourselves. Everything needed is at His table. Something is always flowing from a human’s heart. Make it the Kingdom. To experience the Kingdom within is to exchange what you “know” for knowing Jesus. “The Kingdom of God is not discovered in a place (on earth). God’s Kingdom realm is expanding within some of you” (Luke 17:21). We are going from living in a shakable earth kingdom realm to an unshakable Kingdom realm. There are keys to God’s Kingdom and they unlock levels of deeper experiences of God’s Kingdom realm on earth. Key 1: The MASTER key that unlocks all others, Jesus Christ Himself. He alone gives us permanent access into the Kingdom. Key 2: The key of David (Revelation 3: 7-8) which unlocks intimacy and prayer. It opens spiritual understanding, especially grace. Key 3: Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This key gives us access to the power of the heavenly realm on earth. It unlocks all truth. It unlocks our own heart from bondage. Key 4: God’s Living Word. With the Holy Spirit, it unlocks revelation knowledge moving us into a deeper confidence and knowledge of God Himself. Key 5: This key unlocks the spiritual power of your words. Revelation of Jesus’ gift of righteousness will cleanse your identity, so when you speak…mountains will move. The realm of Heaven’s Kingdom is bursting forth and passionate people have taken hold of its power! Matthew 11:12 TPT God’s victory was settled with Jesus Christ in all realms. Every knee in heaven, on the earth, and under the earth will bow at the name of Jesus. The enemy of the Kingdom of God will try to operate in your life. He can only operate in your uncertainty. Pursue God’s Kingdom and you will know certainty. Pursue the knowledge of your new identity in God’s Kingdom. Know that every righteous requirement has already been fulfilled by your Savior, Jesus. You are enfolded into Christ. The anointed One has set you free. You are holy, blameless, and celebrated because of Him. We are "the dynasty that releases days like heaven on earth” (Psalm 27:13). Like the apostle, Mary, we sit under the Light of Jesus’ words and His Presence and not under our own opinions or even worse the opinions of others. Our journey in the Kingdom began and is sustained by Matthew 11:28. Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me. I am gentle and humble and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. Learn to live freely and lightly. (MSG) Forgiveness in the Kingdom is foundational. It is a kingdom of mercy. Our ministry to others comes from our relationship with Jesus. Kingdom lifestyle is communion and prayer. We are wholly attuned to our Shepherd. The “Our Father” is a jewel of a prayer. It shifts us, instantly, to our Kingdom identity. We are a spiritual family with one perfect Father- no one has higher or lower standing. God Himself holds all authority in heaven and earth. His name is our covering. We live in the tower of His powerful Name. His counsel is always available to us. He provides every need. He cleanses us from sin. We can be like Him in mercy. He is a good Shepherd who leads us on the path of life-the path that always leads us to Him! The currency of the Kingdom is faith. The culture of the Kingdom is love. The faith of Jesus deposited in you is activated by the love of God over you. We have a large spiritual inheritance already within us. It was deposited when we became a citizen of God’s Kingdom realm (2 Peter 1:3). We must acknowledge that inheritance, access it, and activate it in our lives. We are the meek who have inherited the earth(Matthew 5:5). The meaning of the Greek word for “meek” is a wild stallion broken and trained for battle, losing none of its immense strength but his energy is harnessed, disciplined, and directed by his Master. We are delightfully entangle with Jesus: When He moves, I move. His mind is my mindset. When He loves, I love. When He appears and is revealed to all, so will I. Our inward transformation is the greatest witness to the Kingdom of God being present on earth. We seek first the Kingdom with self-discipline, determined purpose, and unwavering faith. We seek His ways interconnected with the family of God. Our need for one another is in our spiritual DNA. Jesus values oneness, so we will too. We look like Him together. The prophetic picture of God’s beautiful Kingdom on earth is found in Proverbs 31:10-31. Please go read it and see it not as an individual woman of God, but as the Ekklesia, the bride of Christ, His church, the Kingdom of God on earth. In closing, the Spirit said the next great move of God within His Kingdom is unity in His body. Be ready to be a part of this move. You are unique and essential to His Kingdom on earth. Your goodness is not measured by what you do, but where you sit. (Read Psalm 23 and its table.) Your part right now is to refuse to be entangled with the world and its cares, but be entangled with the LOVE of Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Thank you for listening. Let me know if this series has been a blessing.
