The Danger of Cultural Christianity: When You Know About God But Don’t Know Jesus

D. Scott Smith grew up with just enough Christianity to think he was fine. Church was familiar. God was familiar. The language was familiar. Christmas and Easter counted. Being American meant being Christian. But underneath the surface, there was no real surrender, no personal relationship with Jesus, and no understanding of the gift of salvation.
