Your cup was never the destination. The overflow was. In this message from Psalm 23, Pastor Temi Odejide answers a question most of us have never thought to ask: why does God keep pouring after the cup is already full? Isn't that wasteful? The answer changes everything about how you pray, how you give, and how you carry what God has already put in your hands. You'll see why God supplies according to His riches and not according to your need, why your perception of God determines what you receive from God, and why the filling is your blessing but the overflow is your assignment. Because the cup is for you — the overflow is for someone else. IN THIS MESSAGE: - Why God supplies according to His riches, not according to your need (Philippians 4:19) - The God you perceive is the God you receive - El Shaddai - the God of more than enough - Blessed vs. being a blessing: the real end goal of Abraham's call - What "enough" actually means - and why enough is never enough - Contentment is not containment - Reservoir or river: how to sustain the overflow SCRIPTURES: Psalm 23:1–6 (pilot text) | Philippians 4:19 | Matthew 10:41 | Ephesians 3:20 | John 10:10 (AMP) | Genesis 26:12–13 | Malachi 3:10 | Genesis 12:1–3 | 2 Corinthians 9:8 | Zechariah 1:17 | Proverbs 11:24–25 | Luke 6:38 JOIN US ON SUNDAYS Pre-service prayer 9am | Main service 10am The Rock Tower, 49 Tufnell Park Road, London, N7 0PS Online: youtube.com/hotrlondon/live To stay in touch with us, please subscribe to our SMS and email list: bit.ly/hotrsubscribe Follow @hotrlondon on Facebook: facebook.com/hotrlondon Instagram: instagram.com/hotrlondon Twitter: twitter.com/hotrlondon YouTube: youtube.com/hotrlondon Soundcloud: @hotrlondon iTunes: bit.ly/hotrspotify Spotify: bit.ly/hotrpodcast Email us at admin@hotr.org.uk Visit our website at hotr.org.uk Support our ministry.
