Indian Mythology - Beyond the Gods
In Indian traditions, particularly Hinduism (often referred to as SanÄtana Dharma), the distinction between "religion" and "God" is captured by the Sanskrit terms Dharma and Deva or Brahman. The relationship is not one of a set of rules worshipping a distant creator, but rather a reflection of the inherent cosmic order and the ultimate, all-pervasive reality.
