Making your dreams come true is a staple for Disney but sometimes the best things come from the dreams that don't necessarily come true. We dive into that concept in this episode exploring the stories of two very prominent and very successful celebrities, Steve Harvey and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.  Both of these men, just as Walt Disney, had the incredible courage to pursue their dreams. One made it a reality and the other discovered that the best thing that could have happened is his dream not coming true.  Regardless; their dreams took them on a journey where they discovered who they are meant to be and they both found their "Happily Ever After!".

The Relationship With Your Word

In this episode, we discuss how Aladdin's relationship with his word impacted his relationship with Geanie and Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin.  Aladdin was true to his word in his intentions, but fell victim to his lie and lost sight of the authenticity that Genie was advocating for him to pursue.  We explore how this dynamic shows up in our daily lives in relation to our relationship with our word and how we execute self commitments in the small things.

True and Authentic Relationships

In this episode, we discuss the relationship between Prince Naveen and Lawrence from the Princess and the Frog.  I discuss the dynamic in this relationship and identify that this is a win-lose relationship.  I discuss the differences and provide examples of the various types of relationships we have in our lives and conclude that we should strive to have win-win relationships.  I also provide a detailed explanation of how context plays a role in our relationships and how we can leverage context to contain the relationships that we deem fruitful and have a positive impact on our lives.

"Beauty is Found Within"

In this episode, we discuss the concept of the old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover."  We explore how this plays out in the relationship between Belle and Beast, and the relationship between Beast and himself in Beauty and the Beast.  I use real-life examples of how this way of thinking can show up in our lives without us even realizing it and in areas that we deem as low impact.  And this does not only apply to relationships with people but also to things and experiences.  We bring judgments and biases that are fed to us unknowingly in all aspects of our lives and this episode explores the impact that it has without us even realizing it.
