Jülide’s Playroom
In this episode of Books and Pulsations, I speak with urban designer, professor and author Nick Dunn about his book Dark Futures: When the Lights Go Down. Together we explore what darkness means beyond fear and absence, touching on gendered experiences of the night, ecological thinking, imagination, and how we might re-inhabit the nocturnal world differently. Rather than treating darkness as something to eliminate, Dunn invites us to consider it as a space of possibility, relation, and more-than-human encounter. You can read my short reflection here:
