Money promises us freedom, but Qoheleth shows us that actually money doesn’t mean enjoyment, it is a burden, it is never enough and we lose it all anyway. He is poking us towards the true treasure that never burdens us, is always enough and will be ours forever.

Rather than using power to exalt himself, he humbled himself to serve, laying down his life to rescue us from every power that enslaves us. In him we discover a better kind of strength: one that is shaped by love, service and trust in God's sovereign rule.
