S4, Ep3: Reiki Therapy for pets with Lizzie Marden

It's my turn to be interviewed this time! Rebecca Hanlon from The Dog Witch: Whole Health for Healthy Behaviour and Co-founder of Atticus Academy of Animals, invited me in to have a chat about Reiki Therapy and how we can use it to benefit our pets. She has very kindly sent me a copy of the recording and given permission for me to share it with all of you on this Podcast. As well as being a certified animal behaviourist and trainer, I am also a L2 qualified Sekhem Reiki Therapist, working with both people and animals. I have worked with a wide variety of animals using Reiki, including zoo animals such as Tigers, Lions and Elephants, however most commonly see horses, dog and cats.

Rebecca worked in human mental health for 20 years before undertaking her qualifications in the animal industry. She is a certified, qualified and experienced canine behaviourist and is also a canine nutritional expert. Rebecca is the co-founder of the Atticus Academy of Animals. Season 4! I kick off 2026 with a fresh new season of my podcast for you. Episode 1: Fur babies vs Human Babies I am joined by my beautiful friend Cassi to compare notes and chat about how having human babies and fur babies can be so similar and each have their own challenges. Cassi has 2 beautiful kids aged 3 & 1 years old and I have 3 cats ages 13 and 2 years old (twins). Throughout our regular catch ups Cassi and I often share and joke with each other about the shenanigans our babies have been up to and the challenges faced. We always find it so funny how despite us being parents to different species, how similar our stories are! And so we thought we'd get together, have a laugh and share them with you! Enjoy!
