Beschreibung

I redid this episode do to audio quality...again...sigh Today I talk about why the advice of "Be Nice" really bothers me and I why I don't think it applies. I also have another "Tale from the Background" sans music. I also explain that being nice is about YOUR intention and not someone else's judgement of you. Episode S2 Ep5: OMG!!! THE BIG AUDITION Cover

S2 Ep5: OMG!!! THE BIG AUDITION

So I've had a couple of BIG...HUGE..."OMG!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT" auditions this year. In this episode I talk about how I dealt with all the worries and negative thoughts I had with an audition that I knew I could possibly book. I also talk about why I was excited for this audition and what I talked about with the Casting Director. AND... I give you a trick to use for doing a "walk and talk" so you land on your mark. The process to get help with negative worries is as follows: 1. get a notebook 2. write out each negative thought/worry leaving several lines of space between each 3. Challenge each one with the question "Is this realistic and rational?" 4. Write down your answer and why (be ok with the answer being "yes" it may be realistic based on your experience and then challenge it again because there still may be a "no") Thanx for listening!!
