Allyship is important for marginalized groups, especially nowadays. Allies almost always take a risk by supporting those who need it, at no real benefit to themselves. But is there a such thing as an unsafe ally? And why would someone hold themselves out as an ally if they're not genuinely supporting those they claim to support?
