Well, in this passage of Scripture that we're going to study, we're going to see that the concept that is emphasized is that of vengeance, and we know that the scripture says Vengeance is Mine, saith the LORD, meaning that God is the only one who is holy enough, righteous enough, that can execute vengeance in a way that will bring forth righteousness. We're going to see undeniably, that God makes a distinction between men and women. We're also going to see the authority that God gives men, and this authority is over women, not to exploit them, not to be unkind to them, but it's a responsibility, and also this is based upon a very important concept, and that is discernment.
