Later, a high-stakes alchemy experiment forces Serrin to directly invoke the Eternal Song, resulting in a successful crystallization but a violent physical complication. The episode wraps up with Serrin leaving the frozen north, only to stumble immediately into a warped, singing terrain that threatens to deepen their corruption.
