The New York Mets fired manager Carlos Mendoza on Friday in a surprising move, just based on the timing. This was a long time coming and it was something the team should have done multiple times. Now, this won't fix the Mets and their problems but the manager had major issues and he deserved to lose his job. I give more thoughts and look at the potential candidates for the next Mets manager.
