Is technology good or bad? (Who cares about ecology?)

Although this topic is not directly related to personal problems, I thought I need to cover it because everything in this world can affect our lives, our mood, and create possible problems. But it’s first hand related to Nature, how it deals with waste products and how we should do it also. And also is highlighting ecological aspect of human nature.
