Ryan Hernandez and Chef Frederick Terluin joined Talk 107.3's Foodie Friday to preview Father's Day specials at Bally's and The Queen. Guests can enjoy a rack of ribs with classic sides at Bally's or a ribeye dinner with loaded mashed potatoes and a draft beer at The Queen. Chef Terluin shared grilling tips for Father's Day cooks. For ribs, he recommends cooking low and slow at around 225 degrees for several hours to create tender meat. For steaks, he suggests bringing the meat to room temperature before cooking, seasoning primarily with salt, and adding black pepper near the end to avoid burning. The conversation also covered burger-making basics. Terlein emphasized that quality beef, simple seasoning, and proper cooking techniques produce the best burgers. He prefers letting the beef's natural flavor shine rather than relying on heavy seasoning blends. Hernandez also highlighted upcoming summer activities at both properties, including giveaways, concerts, gaming promotions, and Father's Day celebrations.
