Pack your bags as we head to Canada to talk with vocalist Chris Hardy and bassist Colton Frausell of Nova Scotia based pop punk outfit All Honesty. An awesome band that I found on spotify, reached out to, and now have the privilege of having on the show to talk their favorite movie. Chris and Colton chose 1998 classic American History X. A polarizing movie that tackles racism through the eyes of a reformed skin head named Derrick Vineyard, who is played perfectly by Edward Norton. With a supporting cast of Edward Furlong, Beverly D'Angelo, Ethan Suplee, Avery Brooks, and Fairuza Balk, American History X became a cultural phenomenon that opened the door for many conversations regarding race in our country. Rikk r Treat of The Writhers - A Goofy Movie (1995)

For the first time ever we’re seeing things I 2 I and talking about a Disney movie. Not just any Disney movie, but Rikk r Treat of the The Writhers favorite one, A Goofy Movie. The 1995 animated cult classic that has stood the test of time and gave us such memories as the perfect cast and Powerline singing nothing but heaters. Cam Martin of Victim of Suffering - The Thing (1982)

As far as I know, I sat down and talked with Cam Martin, drummer of Virginia Beach based hardcore band Victim of Suffering, and not a shapeshifting alien from Antartica. That would be rather interesting and ironic though being that Cam's favorite movie is The Thing. John Carpenter's 1982 classic laid a roadmap for one of the best horror stories ever told. Starring Kurt Russell, Wilford Brimley, and Keith David, Carpenter asks one simple and terrifying question. What do you do when you can't trust yourself or the person next to you? Dan Sheehan of Ghost Chant - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

fortunately at this point I haven't received any letters telling me that someone has erased me or the show from their mind, because if they did that would mean they aren't here now to learn about my friend Dan Sheehan and his favorite movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Who would have thought a 2004 Micheal Gondry directed indie movie featuring Jim Carey and Kate Winslet doing the opposite of their norms would have garnered two Academy Award nominations? With the help of a star studded supporting cast (Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood, Kiersten Dunst, Tom Wilkinson, Jane Adams, and David Cross) it is no surprise to see why Eternal Sunshine has done so well as it has, and has taken the mantle of favorite movie for so many people. James Cross of NRVS - The Blues Brothers (1980)

We're on a mission from God! That mission is to teach the world about my friend James Cross of Vermont based emo band NRVS. James and I had one of the most interesting conversations about music, the industry, and of course his favorite movie. The 1980 John Landis music comedy, The Blues Brothers. Starring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as the eponymous Blues Brothers, The Blues Brothers follows the two brothers on their way to put the band back together and raise some money to save the orphanage they were raised in.
