growing up south asian, we have a such a unique and nuanced culture we have the honor of partaking in. as the next generation in charge of carrying the culture, we discuss what we want to change based on our own experiences to make growing up south asian that much more prideful. i encourage you, whether south asian or not, to listen to our perspectives. i also encourage you to have this same conversation with yourself and others with your own culture, taking your own experiences into consideration.
