In 1981, George Doran, Arthur Miller, and James Cunningham developed a revolutionary methodology for approaching goalsetting that has since become the basis for many counseling techniques and is now well known and associated with Peter Drucker's Management By Objectives (MBO). This method, known as the S.M.A.R.T. method of goal setting, is a way in which we can provide structure and direction to our well-intentioned motivations to better ourselves.  This episode dives deep into the S.M.A.R.T. methodology of goalsetting and includes tips on how you can improve your chances of reaching your New Year's goals as we press onward into 2022.
