Over the past couple of days we have been receiving quite a few requests to talk about our favourite neurodivergent renegade - Elon Musk (heavy sarcasm here). So let's talk about it!

Neurodivergent Role Models

Role models - do you have one? It seems like in this age, gaining access to people's stories is easier than ever - some of those people we may even begin to idolise. Today we decided to talk about one role model in for people on the spectrum. James Cody is an Autistic Engineer from the UK who works at The Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE - they work on the Trident - uk's Nukes!) Neurodivergent women recruited into Defense Companies?

Here we dip our toes a little bit into the topic of neurodivergent women in the workplace - starting with an article which details how some UK companies are seeking to hire them  (one of them being in cybersecurity defense?) Becoming a Self Advocate

Unfortunately, we live in a world where we have to stand up for yourself when other's won't.  This is even-more prevalent for those with a disability, especially a visible one, this is even more the case. Here we talk about an article which researches more issues like this and what actions our community should take to become a 'self-advocate'.
