Chris recently released a wine documentary series hosted by Brandon Anders covering multiple Hudson Valley Vineyards and telling the story of the origins of viniculture in the region. The series is called "Wine Whoopee". Today, Chris is sharing his journey in film making and discussing what it takes to build a business. We will also hear about a film he directed for his master's thesis called "Destined to Fly" which tells the story of Cole Palen, the founder of the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. Shane Arana

Shane is a good friend of mine that I met in the Coast Guard and he introduced me to the sport because I wouldn't stop asking him to teach me. For the record, I am very much a beginner to surfing so let there be no deception about my skills, they are very underwhelming. Shane however, is gifted and remarkably authentic which is a topic we will discuss in today's episode. Shane will share some perspective on Localism, insight on the different surf communities along the west coast, and details on his trip to cloud break off the island of Tavarua, Fiji.
