What's good team. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and Boxing Day. I still have no idea what day it is. I had a really interesting way of viewing the footy over the last couple days that I haven't had in years. Working in the pub on the 27th, Hibs v Hearts, Livi v Celtic and Chelsea v Aston Villa were all on but I didn't get to properly sit down and watch them. Which left me going old school and only really seeing the scores at full time. After checking out social media yesterday and today, I was quite amazed about the different narratives online compared to how I felt just seeing the scores with no other context. So this is video is about that and mainly focusing in on it between Arsenal and City. There's a deep dive into Peps post match press conference against Forest as I thought it was fascinating. He has evolved.

In this episode I sit down with Charlie Knox to talk about the opportunity sitting in front of the Scottish game — from supporter culture and media, to streaming, club identity, fan ownership, coaching influences and where the game could go next. We get into whether Scottish football needs to rethink how it tells its story, why fan culture still gives the game its soul, and why this moment feels bigger than people realise. Also in this conversation: * Is Scottish football undersold? * Does the game need its own version of The Overlap? * What makes supporter culture worth protecting? * Why data and systems can never explain everything in football. Football’s not just a game — it’s spiritual Follow On the Spot: 🔔 Subscribe to Youtube Channel:https://www.youtube.com/@onthespot_podcast?sub_confirmation=1📺 Follow On The Spot:https://www.tiktok.com/@onthespot_podcasthttps://www.instagram.com/onthe_spotpodcast/https://open.spotify.com/show/2TCSEiYpvPoAoeNmTCbaXw?si=95929dfbeba54256https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/on-the-spot/id1792410324
