Take a conscious break - Conscious Productivity Practice

There's a huge misconception around resting in western societies. The misconception is that taking a break or resting means to push the pause button on your productivity. Because it is a state when you appear to be doing nothing, it is thought of exactly like that: standing still. But this assumption couldn't be further from the truth. When you consciously choose to take a break and to practice active rest, you trigger integration. And integration is rocket fuel for your evolution and productivity. If you don't integrate skills, insights and lesson from your previous project, you'll keep making the same mistakes and you'll end up feeling like you're spinning your wheels. You'll be stuck in the same stage of your evolution, not being able to see further than the past. But if you let integration happen, and even more, if you actively and consciously seek integration after every project and even every work session, you'll be able to move forward, because you'll recognize what has and hasn't worked in the past. You can then live what you've learned, or in other words, you are able to embody what you know. This is how theoretical knowledge becomes living experience. Here's a 13 min practice to activate conscious rest.
