Are You Trusting Jesus… or Yourself?

You can’t mix grace and performance. Epistle to the Galatians 5:3–4 hits hard; if you’re trying to be justified by the law, you’ve stepped away from grace. Not because grace failed you… but because you stopped depending on it. We don’t earn righteousness. We wait for it. (v.5) We don’t prove our faith through pressure. We live it out through love. (v.6) You were running well… who cut in on you? (v.7) Not every voice shaping your life is from God. Not every “standard” is truth. Sometimes it’s subtle: a little pressure, a little performance, a little fear… but “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” (v.9) So today I’m checking what I’m trusting: ✨ my effort or His finished work ✨ my image or His approval Because real freedom isn’t striving harder… it’s standing firm in grace.
