Have you ever noticed how two people can have the same experience and have two totally different perceptions of the experience? For example, one person may look outside when it's raining and think "This is just great, might have known it would rain the day have to be outside for my job" - however, another person might say to themselves "Bummer, I guess I'll need to pack the Wellies. Oh well, the garden needs the rain...." Two different perceptions of the rain.  In this episode, I want to share a simple but powerful framework that I have noticed over several years of working with clients. Mood and Behavior: Variations in gut bacteria have been linked to changes in behavior, including mood swings, due to the influence on neurotransmitter production. Digestive Health: Emotional states can affect gut motility and secretions, leading to conditions like IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), where stress can exacerbate symptoms. The brain and gut are deeply interconnected, influencing each other's health and function.
