Episode 19 - HIV Campaigns Through the Years (Live panel discussion)

This special episode is a live recording from a community panel that took place at Collingwood Yards at the “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” exhibition, a project in partnership with Living Positive Victoria, the National Association of People With HIV Australia and ViiV Healthcare. This panel brings together artists, advocates, and community voices to reflect on how HIV campaigns have shifted over time, what they got right, where they caused harm, and what we can learn as we move forward. The panel guests are: * Nic Cheers (he/him) a writer/advocate/activist, living with HIV since 2012. * Angela Bailey (she/her) a curator, photographer and creative producer and vice president of the Australian Queer Archives * Robert (he/him) diagnosed in 2003, and has lived positive ever since. He is a member of LPV's Positive Speakers Bureau. * Emil Cañita (he/she/they) a Naarm/Melbourne-based artist, writer, and HIV advocate. They work as a Peer Navigator and Promotion Officer at Living Positive Victoria, and * Panel facilitator, Beau Newham (he/him) a dedicated HIV-positive community leader with extensive contributions to HIV advocacy in Australia and Southeast Asia, currently working at NAPWHA.
