It's primarily known as the movie with a clip that Paul Rudd always slips into his interviews with Conan O'Brien and it doesn't deserve much of a legacy beyond that. Episode 41 - Ishtar

And now...a podcast dedicated to the lovely ladies...of the Left. In this week's episode, Bri chose to inflict the most boring violence imaginable on the rest of the girls by having them watch 1987's Ishtar. Primarily remembered for being a box office flop, this movie is a bizarre amalgamation of failures from production, casting, and conceptual standpoints that results in a remarkably dull viewing experience. Episode 40 - Galaxy Quest

Never give up, never podcast! In this episode, EV choose to blodly take the rest of the girls where many movie disucssions have gone before: 1999's Galaxy Quest. This sci-fi comedy, serving as a meta-commentary on the value of nerd culture, has had a cult following since it's release and the girls spend this conversation talking about how that commentary has aged, in addition to, y'know, all the good jokes. Join Bridget, EV, Bri, and Jae as they discuss the long-term ramifications of nerd culture escapism, the semantics of what makes something an isekai, and, unfortunately, Tim Allen.

Episode 39 - Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein

I never considered what would come after podcasting. This episode, Bridget decided to play God by having the rest of the girls watch Guillermo del Toro's recent Frankenstein adaptation. Although divisive in it's execution, it's impossible to deny the artistry and passion on display over the film's runtime.
