In this episode , I share the inspiration behind the podcast’s name words from my late mother that have carried me through life: “To my beautiful daughter, you are as rare as an orchid.” I also take you inside my seven days in the hospital after suffering a stroke the fear, anxiety, frustration, and gratitude I felt while facing unexpected diagnoses and the struggle of losing parts of my independence. From being tested for autoimmune diseases to temporarily losing my ability to write and speak, this episode is about resilience, vulnerability, and finding hope in the hardest places.
