Don't Tell Them, Just Do It!

When beginning a healing journey, there will be doubters, and trust me they will say what they think, out loud, to your face! Healing becomes a lonely journey---at first! Then it becomes a welcomed solitude. Don't tell anyone your plans. Make your plans, commit to them, begin them, then tell others. Trust me.

I'm Glad My Father is Dead

The recognition and the honesty about the traumas and hurt we have experienced is a hard truth to face, though necessary for healing. It's ok to say it out loud. Make people uncomfortable, it's ok. The truth makes people uncomfortable, but it heals us. It heals that small child who hid, that teen who had little encouragement, the child who has seen far more than they ever should have. You can and will heal!

Look Up!

Small physical actions can create tremendous change in our self-healing journey. Physiological, psychological, and spiritual can happen if we Just Look up!
