Relate-Able
An important aspect of our relationship to ourselves that we haven’t talked about yet on Relate-Able is our health. It’s just a simple fact that when we feel physically well, we’re more capable of enjoying the time we spend with other people and when we’re depleted, our relationships may feel like more of a burden. But it’s easy to deprioritize your own health when you’re busy taking care of other people or when the health professionals don’t offer the help you need. In this episode, Dr. Dana Culp talks about how much the way you care for your body can impact the connection you feel with others, especially as you age (and all of us are aging, no matter what stage of that we’re in right now).
