Sermons in the Park
DidAdam really have a first wife named Lilith? It's a claim that hasexploded across social media, YouTube, and countless websites—butdoes the Bible actually teach it? In this sermon, we examinewhat Scripture says about Adam and Eve, where the legend of Lilithreally came from, and why Christians should be careful not to addmyths and folklore to God's Word. We'll also look at the Mesopotamianorigins of the Lilith legend, the medieval Jewish text known as theAlphabet of Ben Sira, and why neither Judaism norChristianity has ever accepted the story as biblical truth. God's Word is complete, trustworthy, and sufficient. We don't need secret knowledge orinternet myths when we have the truth of Scripture.
