A place to call home: rising homelessness and the housing crisis in Europe.

Across Europe, rising housing costs and a shortage of affordable homes are pushing more people into homelessness; including workers, young people and the elderly. In this episode, we explore the structural drivers behind the housing crisis and how these are contributing to rising homelessness across Europe, as well as the solutions that are making a difference. Through the story of Iryna and insights from Marco Aliotta and Alessandro Damassa from Caritas Trieste (IT), we look at how the Housing First approach can help people rebuild their lives, starting with something fundamental: a place to call home.
