Bereshit - "In the BEGINNING..."

If there was ever a time when we as Americans felt the compelling need for our nation, founded two and a half centuries ago solidly on faith in Christ, to repent and rededicate itself to the Lord, it is surely now!  But the Scriptures are clear that God’s judgement which leads to repentance does not begin with the world, but with us, His people (1 Pet. 4:17; 2 Chron. 7:14).  It’s time for the Church to repent!  We must lead our nations by example! Therefore, it was no coincidence that the Lord sent Melanie Sherrer all the way from Florida to Southern California to bring us a powerful life-changing message at the same time as an historic national prayer gathering called, “Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving” was taking place with thousands gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.  Thousands more participated via television and live stream.  It was a unified call to pray, worship, repent, and rededicate the nation (and the Church) back to God. Melanie’s message was a call for believers everywhere to return to our miraculous BEGINNING by uncovering amazing spiritual treasures hidden for thousands of years in one Hebrew word: Bereshit – “In the BEGINING...”  Fasten your spiritual “seatbelt” and be utterly amazed by His love! DELIVERANCE! Part 2 - Bootcamp for Generals!

This is the second in a new series of messages entitled “BOOTCAMP for GENERALS!”  “Generals” is a term for believers who are maturing in their callings and growing in their giftings as spiritual leaders in the Body of Christ and in the secular world.  In Part 2 of this teaching on DELIVERANCE, we focus on the source of the real power needed to set free and deliver the captives by breaking demonic strongholds and defeating all the power of the devil himself.  The ultimate source of this miraculous spiritual power is IDENTITY—knowing WHO you are in Christ.  Remember, when Jesus came out of the water of John’s baptism to begin His ministry, immediately His Father established His IDENTITY as the Son of God.  Jesus spent the next forty days in the wilderness being tested by the devil to see if he could somehow dilute this power and steal His IDENTITY.  The devil failed and Jesus won by knowing beyond all doubt WHO HE IS IN GOD!  YOU will always win by knowing WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST!   Prepare to grow in spiritual strength and power as you listen to this message! DELIVERANCE! Part 1 - Bootcamp for Generals!

This is the first of a new series of messages called “BOOTCAMP for GENERALS!”  We are thankful The Lord called us to heal and minister to new and young believers, but then the day came when He asked us, “Who heals the healers and who ministers to my leaders and generals?”   He is now reminding us that the time is short, and it’s time to impart everything we have to heal and build strong spiritual foundation in everyone we touch so they (YOU) can go forth and impart to others. When we examine how Jesus began His ministry of healing and building foundation in those He touched, we notice He continually met spiritual opposition from the devil.  So, we strongly believe the place for us to join with Him in receiving ministry that we can impart to others is to become not only experienced, but extremely comfortable in waging spiritual warfare against the devil and his demonic forces of evil.  This kind of warfare is called “DELIVERANCE,” and begins by knowing WHO you are in Christ, as well as knowing the AUTHORITY He has given you over the devil. You may have received deliverance or ministered healing and deliverance to others previously, but The Lord has given us all unique wisdom and experience.  Therefore, we encourage you to be open to receive all The Lord has given us to impart to YOU today. Only One Way Out?

Perfectionism to Perfection!

In the beginning, the enemy didn’t waste any time entering the Garden of Eden to tempt God’s first children into believing they could “be like God,” their Father, through disobedience and their own human effort.  This desire to “be like God” has been in every child of Adam since, manifesting itself outwardly in a human phenomenon we call “perfectionism.”  Millions of people, including Christians, are affected by these frustrating and exhausting symptoms of “perfectionism,” but have little or no idea how to be set free. In this study, we explore not only the human PROBLEM of perfectionism, but the spiritual SOLUTION, based on the Bible and our own personal experience, as well.  Be encouraged—like every other problem we encounter in life, Jesus is the answer to them all!  Be blessed as you HEAR!
