National Volunteer Week

It’s  Volunteer Week and this week’s Special Agent Mom’s Podcast features Shannon Bergner — a Pratt County native and volunteer force! National Volunteer Week is about recognizing the work of volunteers nationwide who give their time, talent, and energy to improve the quality of life for others.  Volunteers are a fantastic resource when we look hours given and the value of that time. According to 2023 data from Independent Sector [https://independentsector.org/], the value of volunteer time in Kansas is $29.69 per hour.
